Standardised process for the suppliers
The pre-qualification system JQS provides the suppliers with a unique gateway to reach the entire oil industry in Norway and Denmark in one simple step. By maintaining registration on the Achilles system the supplier can with minimum effort ensure that existing as well as potential business partners have access to up-to-date and relevant information about the company and its products and services.
Traditionally each buyer organisation operated fully individual supplier pre-qualification schemes. Today these companies leave the operation of the pre-qualification system to a co-ordinating unit that specialises in this area. Up-to-date information about the suppliers and their products and services is made available over the internet where the buyers can easily retrieve relevant suppliers for any procurement need.
Through a joint pre-qualification system for the entire industry the communication between the buyers and the suppliers is greatly simplified.
