Achilles open to pre-qualified suppliers!
Through many years of co-operation on the development/ operation of Achilles JQS the oil companies have been in a position to significantly reduce their costs related to supplier sourcing and pre-qualification. In December 2000 the Danish/Norwegian oil companies, in close consultation with the main management contractors decided that suppliers and contractors, who are qualified in Achilles JQS, shall be granted the option to use the same supplier database for own purchases.
By contracting for use of the database the supplier gets access to the same detailed supplier information as used by the oil companies at a nominal cost.
