Effective February, Achilles has acquired Supplybase, to accelerate growth in the Asia Pacific oil and gas industry. Supplybase is the APPEA-developed registration
system for the Australian Oil and Gas industry.
This is an exciting leap forward for Achilles and Supplybase and the
Operator and Vendor clients, with Achilles Group providing accesss to international
markets, a range of new services for buyers and suppliers, and moving several
steps closer to the vision of industry-standard pre-qualification.
Planning is already underway to transition all Operator and Vendor clients to the
Achilles global 'Accelerate' system, which is on track to occur later in 2011.
Achilles is a world leader in services for sustainable procurement, helping create
opportunities for business and reducing risk in the supply chain. Globally, Achilles
systems now have over 55,000 registered suppliers and are used by over 700 buying
