This system will utilise Achilles global product and service coding system; it will draw from established supplier data collection and management systems in other regions and will involved the standard features of the existing Achilles Rail system operating elsewhere. Originally established over a decade ago, Link-up has made a significant impact to the rail industry by providing a single common qualification process for suppliers that is shared by Network Rail and over 80 rail organisations including Infrastructure Management Contractors, Underground Infrastructure companies, Construction companies and all major Train and Freight Operators.
TransQ – Nordic Transport Utility Qualification System and Vendor Databaseis a unique collaboration between transport utilities in the Nordic countries. The participating utilities use the system to provide information and to select suppliers when buying goods, services and works. Those buyers not subject to the EC procurement directives also use the system as a joint vendor database.
The Transport Suppliers Database proTRANS, is a common system established by transport companies with the aim of having a powerful tool in order to register its suppliers and contractors effectively, permanently updated, objective and non-discriminatory. The system is open to participation of all companies operating in the transport of goods and persons in Spain.
